A dream that of Erwin ECKL, ski instructor os Austrian origin, fell under the spell of The Col des Saisies in 1935. He found in this place a reflection of his native Tyrol, and began to dream of founding a ski resort. The history of a place… which thanks to the passion and ambition of this man became a magical place for the mountain lovers.
During the winter as the summer, les Saisies is a dynamic resort, culturally and sportingly. Infrastructure run as well under the snow as under the summer sun.
The Saisies resort occupies a remarkable place, surrounded by three famous and beautiful massif moutain : the Beaufortain, the Aravis and the Mont Blanc massif.
Nicknamed « Le Grenier à neige de la Savoie » ( Snow loft of Savoy), the Saisies resort offers exceptional snow coverage from December to April.
Linking 6 villages on skis, the « Diamond Space offers 158 slopes of alpine skiing and 120 km of cross country tracks. Nested between 1150 and 2069 meters above sea level, this land of adventure dazzled by its panoramic overview of the majestic Mont Blanc and delights with its snow quality and diversity of activities.
